Guest guest
Regarding list ownership. The list called urticaria@... belongs to the people who belong to it. If it ever was Debby's list it no longer is. Debby departed the scene long ago. There is some basis of fact in the roll that mites play in urticaria. Mite allergen is recognized by the medical community as being responsible for may allergic diseases. Most common is as a contributing cause of asthma. I don't believe the body is infested with mites but I do believe one's environment can be. IF anyone has any doubts visit an allergy control site and you'll find a wide variety of dust mite avoidance products. Having mite infested upholstered furniture, bedding and carpets has nothing to do with cleanliness, mites occur everywhere except in high altitudes and very dry climates and feed on the flakes of human skin that we all shed daily. It is not the mite that causes the problem it is the feces of the mite. These things I believe are based on 3 years of extensive medical workups, tests, cat scans, skin biopsies, endoscopies, etc.. When an Allergist placed one drop of mite allergen serum on my skin, my entire body exploded with hives and I needed adrenaline. That all the proof I needed. The only thing to do is avoidance. There are commercially available products to neutralize the allergen in carpets, upholstered furniture and carpets. The bedroom is the place we spend most of our lives and abatement methods taken there will provide the most benefit. New mattress, no carpet. Keep relative humidity below 50%. I have done these things as well as others and am waiting for the results. It has been explained to me that it can take months for the immune system to return to normal. I'll let you all know.. To be completely honest, I believe this is the only way to go for the type of CU that I have. I am sure there are others like me who could benefit by these things that I have done. Unfortunately the other forms of CU probably would require different methods, but one thing is sure there are no magic cures. Guest guest
Dave - The invitation is open to placing mites on the survey, any treatments for mites, etc. The only point that was made is there was absolutely no documentation presented to support Mr. Kennings postulation of microscopic 'gem' mites, too small to see with a medical microscope, too fast to catch, too allusive to biopsy, etc. Therefore to consider dangerous treatments to rid one of such a mysterious critter should be avoided until further evidence is presented. Be certain that I'm not saying 'don't look for mites.' Look into everything. Avoid harm at all costs. This includes medicines that wreck our bodies. Be careful. It is our body. This does not negate the facts that you present cause and are known to cause CU in some people. The efforts you list are reasonable and not life threatening. That's all - Phil Re: Relevance of posted material > >Content-Type: text/plain; >Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable ><< File: TXT1.TXT >> << File: TXT2.TXT >> << File: TXT3.TXT >> >
Guest guest
Dave - I have always found you to be level headed in all of our dealings. If you did look into Jay's cure, I'm sure it would be after much thought and certainly proper medical regard. Jay is not regarding the safety required by law. Someone could die. -- Now - how is the real work coming. Do you want to register survey with iNetSurvey. You are the POC for starting this ball rolling -- if you want it. I got to get my fanny moving on creation of the website -- ASAP. select one of the following or all of the following: WWW.NEROSWORLD.COM\Hives WWW.NEROSWORLD.COM\ChronicHives WWW.NEROSWORLD.COM\Urticaria WWW.NEROSWORLD.COM\ChronicUrticaria Have we heard from Mike?
