Problems with Provenge?

One of the Yana men

who posts as Dennis Dennisissure (at http://www.yananow.org/Mentors/DennisD.htm

) has just posted a rather harrowing description of his attempts to have Provenge

as a therapy. Whilst Dennis may not be a typical example of the administration

of Provenge, I must say I was surprised to find that the initial part of the

therapy involved a three and a half hour procedure to extract the leukocytes

from the blood.

Have any other Provenge men had similar problems as

those described by Dennis?

If you read Dennis’ story you will see that he

has had a pretty rough time of it over the six years since his diagnosis and

after being told he can expect to live a maximum of two years he is

understandably feeling somewhat down. He does not subscribe to this List as far

as I know, so if anyone feels that they can boost his morale, I suggest they

mail him directly.

All the best

Aside from being trussed-up like a steer and having to lay motionless for OVER three hours, had no ill affects -- but for unsteady pins a for few minutes after treatment.tdrSubject: Problems with Provenge? To: ProstateCancerSupport Date: Saturday, July 16, 2011, 5:00 PM
