How long does it take for certain lupron effects/side effects to start being red

Have finished imrt 44 sessions (gleason 7, 4+3, 3 cores, 3+4, 1 core)

and was taking lupron for 6 months covering period before and a bit after imrt

-the last monthly shot was 6/15.

Am just starting to read about and learn about the next steps as to monitoring

psa, psa bounce, tracking hopeful reduction in imrt side effects, when psa

results will be valid as to further tracking, etc.

What I haven't found in a quick search is when the effects of lupron on psa and

testosterone might start to lessen once the full month since the last shot has

passed, in the context both of

a. when further psa readings might be valid for future tracking so that the

artificially low ones from the lupron don't confuse things ?

(aside from other timeline considerations related to psa readings like bounce

and other factors which I'm not even aware of yet since have not read anything

on the overall topic, wanting to wait until after imrt)

and

b. when the lupron effects on bone/muscle density/mass might start to lessen ?

since these effects have happened for sure, at least based on rising

n-telopeptide ratio readings (and started off with diagnosed osteoporosis even

before starting lupron)

(or perhaps should say when lupron effects of testosterone might start to

lessen)

(( am trying to avoid for now the bone medications and use diet/vitamin d/etc to

help until I hope the effects of the lupron might wear off))

===> I realize the answers to a. and b. will vary widely and that some effects

might not reduce or reduce completely, but am just looking for a non technical

starting point of information on those questions.

Thanks.
