gee---i had major tests of all kinds

massive blood work--massive to test for all sort of things--antibodies,

lupus, etc etc

also had cat scan

ultra sounds

cystscopy

chest x rays

skin biopsy

etc etc

wish i coul rember them all

have seen a primary derm rheumie allergist urolgist immunolgoist

endrconlogist

and went to a mjaor teaching hosptail for " show and tell " in the derm dept

so--i have ben tested and re tested-to no avial

what can i say

Would you all please let me know what kind of tests you went

through before your doctor was satisfied that this was just urticaria

and not a serious underlying condition. Thank you very much.

I've been tested for all food allergies, h-pylori, lupus, over and

underactive thyroid, parasites, etc etc etc

I've had lots of rubbish doctors, but my current doctor has never been

satisfied that this is 'just urticaria.' Often it's the other way around -

the urticaria is the body's way of showing that one does have a serious

underlying condition. The trouble lies in pin-pointing it down!
