Or wrongly stated. Hardly any of the journalists writing on medical (or any other technical) subject is able to grasp what it's about. After all, their job is to sell the publication, no more. If the news article names at least one author plus roughly the date of publication and even the name of the publication, it is usually not difficult to find the source. Just the author and the date (and we know the subject) are usually enough clues to find the study on www.PubMed.gov Works for me.....
