I think that you and Terry Herbert have had longer runs of active surveillance than any others I have read, though Terry has had to get some treatment more recently. Can you tell us what your PSA, Gleason and any other stats were at diagnosis, and what your PSA is today? Have you had any additional biopsies, or just the original one in 1994? If you have, what convinced you to have them and what did they show? How did you find out about watchful waiting as a way to cope with PCa? When you were first diagnosed, did your doctor recommend watchful waiting, or did you have to adopt it against the advice of your doctor? (My doctor never even mentioned it.) Have you got a settled plan for what would convince you to seek treatment, and a plan for what that treatment might be, or are you playing it " by ear " as it were? Thanks.
