Guest guest
Have you read the Package Insert on the other drugs we are taking for RA? If we decided to not take our medication because of the potential for very serious side effects we would not be taking any of our meds. As a result, we would have severely deformed joints and many of us would be in a wheel chair. I will take my chances with Remicade. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jacy Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Saturday, October 09, 2004 4:05 PM Subject: Re: Keyword News: [rheumatoid arthritis] Anyone on Remicade, please talk to your doctor about this! Guest guest
I agree with Pat on this. Without medicines I was bedridden and in constant severe pain. Now I can function so I'll take my chances with unlikely (but serious) side effects. I like to be able to feed myself even when bedridden and I couldn't do even that when I stopped my medicines for a short time. There are a lot of different severities of RA and I have a fairly severe kind. Guest guest
That is fine Pat. I found information that I thought people should know. How/what anyone does with that info is up to them. There are always "possible" side effects. Certainly not everyone will get them and hopefully, as closely monitored as we are by our doctors, none will get them. Just good to be forewarned though.
