Guest guest
.. << Have been using (Ambien) samples for 2 weeks, went to fill prescription today and insurance won't pay for it.>> That is a crock!! I was shocked to see $108 for one bottle of Ambien at my local Safeway Pharmacy, but my secondary insurance paid for all but $9. I have a supplemental to go with my Military Tricare Prime. Any of you others on Tricare, look at a supplemental if you can't get your meds at a military pharmacy!! When you are on stuff like this or the anti-virals for Shingles that cost several hundred dollars for ten days supply you have to be covered. Hope that RP won't keep you from getting supplemental. I will keep the Mediplus supplimental after I go on military medicare in October. So far with two hospitalizations, one surgery, scads of baseline testing by several specialists and lots of expensive meds I am only out the insurance premiums and an occasional $8 or $9 for med when Air Force Academy pharmacy doesn't have something (like Ambien). Guest guest
, I'm on Tricare also (regular not even Prime) and it covers 80% of all my meds including Ambien. Also, have you checked into the merck-medco mail order parmacy through tricare? You only pay 8.00 per prescription and they deliver it within 2 days to your house. They recently approved my enbrel so now I pay 8.00 for a 2 month supply as opposed to the 200.00 (which was still better than 1100.00) per month through the pharmacy! Insurance won't payFrom: Hob@... . << Have been using (Ambien) samples for 2 weeks, went to fill prescription today and insurance won't pay for it.>>That is a crock!!
