Guest guest
I've been following the posts here and there (I've been really sore lately, and sitting at the computer is a bit difficult), and I was wondering, what are the things you all look for in a rheumatologist? How do you know you have a good one? Also... I don't want to give up my Celebrex. When I was cut back to one 200mg. pill from two times a day, I practically siezed up to a complete painful stop. Is there any other meds out there without serious side effects? Folks with inflammation already have to worry about increased risk of heart attack and stroke. Now I'm really nervous, especially since my father died at 54 from a heart attack. He also smoked, ate terrible, and had high blood pressure... I don't do that, and I don't smoke. However, it's still quite frightening. Also, what do you do for exercise and diet. I eat a lot of veggies and grains and some fruit and some meat. Very little meat. Very low sodium. Exercise is difficult. I was riding my bike, but my hips got so bad, that I just couldn't keep that up. I tried yoga, and again, my hips, plus my shoulders and chest, got so bad I had to stop. I walk when I can (feet are bad), and I don't have access to a pool. So... what do you all do? What have you found beneficial. My doctor keeps telling me to exercise, but it hurts so much and I'm out of commission for so long following... any tips? Thanks a mill,
Guest guest
, I am having same problem about exercise. Found a heated pool but it is 30 minutes away and hard to work into my schedule since I still work fulltime. I think the pool is the best since the water is less resistance on the joints but I am not getting there. Guest guest
Does anyone use a home exercise machine? If so, which one and do you like it and does it hurt your knees or hips?
