Speaking of low body temps... what do you all do to keep

yourselves warm in the winter months. I'm freezing... and I can't

afford to keep this house heated like I feel like I need it. I wish

I could plug in a heated bathrobe on an extension cord that

stretched all the way through the house and live in the thing. I'm

costantly cold, my hands and feet are killing me and my ears and

nose feel like icicles. Any tips?

I might look silly at bed but they say you loose most

of your body heat through your head so I use a fleece

nightcap and found it really helps. I also wear socks

to bed. I have found that fleece blankets are the

warmest. You can get fleece material on sale and

since the edges won't fray you can make a blanket

without sewing.

Always check with your doctor first, but niacin opens the surface blood vessels and that helps in warming the extremities. To keep warm, I wear layers of clothes and since I am so short the long sleeves naturally fall over my hands. So that helps too.
