Hi,

Well. I went back to the doctors yesterday because I started to feel sick

again like the UTI had not gone away. Well not only did it not go away, I

have a kidney infection. I asked the Dr. if he thought that my UTI's was an

infection that just has not gone away for a long time now. He mulled it over

for a second and said it sure is sounding that way. He wants me to take the

course of antibiotics for 10 days and on the 11th day come back to check if

the infection is gone and do an ultra sound. I had my normal Dr. and he

knows my history, and was concerned that I have had a UTI for quite some

time and that is why it went into my kidneys. I said could this be the cause

of my hives? He raised a curious eyebrow and said lets see if we can get

this infection to go away...so just maybe there is a link. I feel horribly

sick right now, like I did 5 yrs ago, when they could not get the UTI to go

away...maybe it had gone into my kidneys then also, and they were only

treating a UTI.

I can say my hives have not been to bad for the last few weeks, while on the

antibiotic and I am hoping this is not just a coincidence.
