Guest guest
Hi all, I haven't posted in quite a while so I thought I'd do some quick catch up. We've been trying to sell our property and Saturday a week a go the buyers cancelled the contract. I'm really bummed over that one. Today I have a 7 year old home from school with pink eye and cold. I saw the Rheumy on Wed. last week. I had dropped my Predinsone from 10mg to 5mg. by reducing 2 1/2mg a month in Aug. and Sept. The first 2 1/2mg drop, no change, the second 2 1/2mg drop my fingers started to swell a little and there was some pain. I decided to ignore it just to keep the predinsone dose low. Not a good idea. My doctor was not very happy, he said we have to keep the RA under control. 10mg of Predinsone is not a high dose. He increased my methatrexate to 8 pills weekly and the Predinsone back to 7 1/2mg for the next month. He said to decrease it back to 5mg if possible then. He also said I'm at the high end of Methatrexate by mouth. I'm not sure what we'll do if this doesn't work. I know for a fact that weather plays a big part in the pain and swelling of RA. I live in Eastern NC and with all the tropical storms and Hurricane's my hands have given me a fit. I'm gald all is quiet right now. Hope you all are doing well or as well as can be expected. Thanks for being here and caring so much for each other. Joan

Guest guest
I could go into my frusteration with the turkey but I won't..... I have still been busy, but took today off from hunting since all I had to work later, and the house looks like a disaster zone since I have been hunting in my free time instead of cleaning. My weight..... lets not go there just yet!!! I decided not to weigh in on Saturday since the 30th is coming up. I figured that would be close enough for me. Hopefully this month will show a loss. I am still waiting for the electrician to come put in an outlet for the treadmill and then I can start working out on that. I hope everyone else is doing well!! Tomorrow is hunting come in early to work for a couple of hours, back to hunting, to the shool for an IEP (individual education plan) then back to work for a couple of hours and then back to the school for the kids musical.... UGH!! It has to end sometime right!??! a From: ABrite@... <ABrite@...>Subject: Re: Quick Post100-plus Date: Sunday, April 27, 2008, 11:55 AM In a message dated 4/23/2008 10:57:46 A.M.
