Both fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome are thought to be associated

with hypothyroidism. I'm thinking you mentioned having " The Thyroid

Solution, " by Arem. If you do, he elaborates on this and recommends treating

fibromyalgia with thyroid hormone. Shomon, on her about.com thyroid site

has some good info on this too.

Look in the index of Arem's book for fibromyalgia. He mentions it in several

different places.

I should probably also mention that fibromyalgia is known to develop after

having radioiodine, because of the quick move to hypothyroidism. But you may

not even have fibromyalgia, since muscle weekness is also related to thyroid

dysfunction.
