Guest guest
Ralph was taken off gradually. I cannot imagine just quitting all at once. The directions tell you to taper off. One thing we discovered was, after a while none of the medication seemed to do anything because Ralph had none of the Parkinson symptoms. Dr said if Ralph felt like it was helping, then let him take it. Too much caused hallucinations. Every patient is different. I wish both of you the very best as you adjust all of the medication. Does Fred take calcium? Ralph did, and potassium. He had severe leg cramps when those things became low. I hate this illness with a passion. We were trying everything right up to the last minute. But with any progressive illness, there seems to be a limit and you just have to accept it. Make the best of every day and love each other through it. Barb, in Arlington where the sun is shinning and we are watching the grass grow again. We are blessed.
