Bextra Patient Assistance Program

Hello all,

I finally broke down and called the patient assistance line. The program so far sounds easy. I am waiting for the paperwork in the mail now. But its a simple form that your fill out, take to your doc for him to fill out his part and mail back in to the drug company.

They will mail a 90 days supply of the drug to your doc..he will dispense the drug. Once you are 45 days away from needing a refill you re-apply again. You can reapply for as many times as needed or required. No limit.

So I thought I would pass this on. They also have a program for those with insurance but can't afford the co-pays. I don't know the details but I called 866-4bextra.

I got info from Enbrel..buts its seems real complicated...it has to be notorized and such and they send the meds direct to you. So not sure if I will ever be able to get back on Enbrel again.

So I am going though the list of meds and calling and finding out the rules to get assistance.
