Guest guest
This is the second time this week that I have opened my little pill compartments to take my evening pills only to discover that I forgot to take them in the morning, AND HADN'T NOTICED. Usually If I forget to take the naproxen, within a few hours I begin to hurt so much that I remember in a hurry. Twice this week I have gone 24 hours without naproxen and not even noticed. My hands are still sore, but I can use them. I can open a soda can or a water bottle. I can carry a dish or pot in one hand. I can start my car without using pliers to hold the key. My shoulders are enough improved that I can pull a shirt off over my head for the first time in months. First thing in the morning, my hands are still stiff as a board and I have to work them for about 15 minutes before I can grasp anything, but they are dramatically better. I have been on the MTX less than three weeks. Last week the MTX didn't make me quite as light headed. I made it a point to do some yard work and I think the activity helped, but I had to be very careful because my balance was weird and if I bent over too quickly I'd fall on my head. I am doing more and more of my usual activities again. I still lack strentgh in my hands and have to be careful or I will grab something and it will go right out of my grasp and fall. I am so glad that the DMARD is working for me and that I am not having bad side effects from it. I hope it continues to work for me.
