Guest guest Posted October 18, 2002 Report Share Posted October 18, 2002 -- Well, gang, I got my last chemo treatment in my second round (four weeks on and two weeks off) today. Next Tuesday I go for a CT scan and more blood tests. At the last test, my CEA level was only 1.2. Cross your fingers for me. The surgeon told me in July, in a very emphatic tone, that he had removed everything cancerous he could find (a foot of colon with the tumor and two spots on my liver). Here's hoping the onc will say everything is under control and I can stop the chemo. Man, will I ever be glad to get rid of that metallic taste in my mouth!
