Guest guest
Hi everyone, Today's (October 15, 2000) issue of Parade Magazine features a question in " Personality Parade " on page 4 about ny Cash and Shy-Drager. I can't find the article on-line, so I'll type it in: Q. Does ny Cash have Shy-Drager Syndrome? If so, how is he doing? S., Woonsocket, R. I. [ Sabo, is that you???] A. Cash has a disorder similar to Parkinson's that causes tremors, but doctor's can't agree on a diagnosis. (Shy-Drager is a rare progressive disease resulting in neurological dysfunction.) We're told the singer's symptoms are " moderate. " Cash's illness delayed completion of his Solitary Man CD, which finally hits stores next Tuesday. Cash, 68, generally stays close to the 50-acre compound near Nashville that he shares with his wife, June . (Even there, he's not safe. Cash once suffered five broken ribs when a pet emu kicked him.) P. S. There's also an article about ny Cash in the most recent issue of Rolling Stone.
