Looking for info on a Ponseti type doctor in the New York Area....

HELP!

My baby is due at the end of January. I was all set to head out from

Los Angeles... (70 degrees today mind you), to Iowa City, (they had

an ice storm today and all the local schools were closed...) so we

can get the best treatment from Dr. Ponseti. BUT...

My DEAR HUSBAND came up with the wild idea that maybe we would be

better off looking for a doctor that practices the Ponseti method in

the greater New York Area. WHY do you ask would we rather be in NYC

than Iowa City??!! Most of my family lives in the Greater New York

are and he feels I would be much better off with a good solid support

system from my family rather than all alone in a motel. SO, to make

a long story even longer... If there is anyone out there with any

information on doctors in NYC that use the Ponseti method PLEEEAASE

email me with names and phone numbers. I put in a call to Doctor

Ponseti but he didnt go in today because of the treacherous ice storm

and awful driving conditions. Personally I would rather deal with

the lonliness of Iowa City for a month and know my child is getting

the best possible treatment than be in New York with my family.

My family is pretty incredible. (Hmmmm that doesnt sound quite right

does it??!!)

So if you have any thoughts about this... please let me know...
