Guest guest
, I used Enbrel for a while and it controlled the RA well. I just got tired of sinus infection coming back on me. Congrats on nursing school and I'm sure you can handle the Enbrel okay. I never was crazy about doing the shot but it was not that big a deal twice a week. Now I am hearing that they have a once a week shot. Guest guest
, I'm been an ICU nurse for 10 years. I've been on Enbrel before. There's nothing to it. Just know that injection site reactions are common. So if you get a big red goose egg that's warm and itches like the devil at the injection site, don't panic. That's normal. I didn't start having them until after probably 25 injections. As far as your wrist, don't fret. My ankle was huge. Couldn't tell where the bone stuck out for awhile. But after you get your RA under control, your wrist may go back to looking more normal. My ankle still looks a bit " different " from the other one, but nothing like it did. Congrats on nursing school. You have a unique perspective other nurses don't have. You've walked both sides of the fence. Much success with the Enbrel.
