Guest guest
those prices per my friend appear correct. They start you off initially on a very high dosage (the $133 tabs), but then drop you to 1 pill per day ($8/day) apparently drug stays in your system for 2 years! But there is a series of injections they can give you if they need to get it out of you quickly (all of this is from my friend, I might add) she is not taking any anti-inflammatories with Arava. She was taking minocycline, but had bad vertigo and other side effects (body odor, stomach problems - yellow bowel movements and bad smelling) and stopped it. Her doctor also told her that tears could cause staining of her contact lenses due to minocycline - now that's a new one on me - how many of you have contacts and have had that problem? That would be an interesting poll Chris. Mark rheumatic ARAVA---Leflunomide > From: 410@... > > From 410@... Guest guest
Mark, I had big time problems with my contacts while taking Plaquenil, while also being on Minocycline. They deteriorated rapidly, almost like something was eating at them. Once I quit the Plaquenil, however, the problem went away completely, even though I am continuing on the Minocycline. Haven't noticed any problem since so I can't say the Minocycline has any effect on my contacts. a " HOLMES, MARK T. " wrote: > > From: MHOLMES@...
