Guest guest
Ever since I had my Colonscopy on Thursday, I have not felt the same. I had a lot of anesthesia and was really tired afterwards and have not been able to get my normal energy level back, which is pretty low to begin with! Usually if I get tired I can rest for a couple of hours or less and then be able to do more but I never got to that point yesterday, I was totally spent. Has anyone experienced this after a procedure? Guest guest
I had one on the 22nd, along with an endoscopy, and didn't have any effect at all from it. I came home and did some light housecleaning, etc. afterwards. I also had a very light anesthetic, too. ----- Original Message ----- From: NELLIESTAR@... Guest guest
Yes, I had one in September and I was better in about a month! My advice is just rest and try not to over do it. - > > > Ever since I had my Colonscopy on Thursday, I have not felt the same. Guest guest
Lucky you! I guess it depends too on how you are feeling prior to the procedure. I was having a bad flare with my Crohn's prior to the procedure so it took a long time to recoup! - > I had one on the 22nd, along with an endoscopy, and didn't have any effect at all from it. Guest guest
That might be it. I'm having a really good spell right now -- losing weight, getting lots of exercise, and my RA seems to be subsiding. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Sunday, January 02, 2005 12:50 PM Subject: Re: wiped out Lucky you! Guest guest
It never bothered me. The last colonoscopy I had I watched it on the monitor but I was out for the first one. I was tired for a couple hours until the meds were out of my system but nothing like you are describing.
