Guest guest
Hi, Bev. Where did you get your Minocin? I need to run there as quickly as possible. I have BCBS and even with their part, MY costs for 24, I said 24, capsules was $82.00. I want your druggest and I thought this price high at the time and now I know it was! Guest guest
, I am in Southwestern Ontario, Canada and my Zehrs grocery store has a pharmacy which is quite reasonable. They are linked to Loblaws I believe. Their dispensing fee is only $4.99 whereas my gp's dispensary charges $12.50 on top of the prescription cost. It seems the Zithro is cheaper there also according to 's post. Hers worked out to $9.00 a pill whereas mine were $6.25, still an outrageous amount. I saw on a tv show that many Americans come across the border to Canada to get their meds so perhaps they are generally cheaper here. Bev > Hi, Bev. Where did you get your Minocin? Guest guest
I saw that show too where they have charter buses full of seniors coming over for meds and even with the cost of the trip they saved money and had a trip as a bonus. I guess we can't complain. But generally speaking, they cost too much everywhere. Bev > > > > Yes and dont forget I am in the US where our dollar is different than yours. The medicare book I have lists the ones in the states around me (Arkansas) Interestingly none of the ones in Arkansas include medicine coverage. Guest guest
My Minocin alone costs me $250/month and Darvocet is $80/month. Plus another 6 prescrips or more. Yes I have " insurance " if you call an HMO insurance, but it doesn't cover DAW if a generic exists. So they generously pay the $8 a generic would cost--what a deal. The rest $250, etc is all mine. << Mark, I was completely floored when I had an RX filled yesterday for a perscription for an ear infection I've had for a week. He won't agree to give me Zithromax as a second antibiotic, but gave me an RX for " 6 " tablets for my ear infection. Well, in a way I am glad I'm not taking it as a second antibiotic because 6 tablets cost me $37.50. I do have a drug plan that pays 100% but I have to lay the money out first and ultimately the insurance company has to pay which means our premiums go up, so in the end I end up paying more. Totally outrageous that these meds cost so much. If I didn't have a plan my illness would cost us a fortune. My Minocin costs about $131.00 for 100 capsules. The Zithromax is 250 mg tablets so if I was on it for Arthritis and got 100 tablets, that would be $625.00. These come in a blister pack of 6. You might want to ask your doctor about this and see if Z. works as well for you. Works for me. a Carnes > > << Mark, > I was completely floored when I had an RX filled yesterday for a > perscription for an ear infection I've had for a week.
