Guest guest
Hi , Great to hear you've started the Mino............watch out world here comes <grin> I started Dr M's diet with a hiss and a roar adopting everything at once, don't know that I would advise that as a good way to go about it now though <smile> I decided that it was absolutely impossible to do as it had listed all the things that I didn't tolerate as the 'right' things to eat. Didn't fancy a slow painful transition and did the whole lot straight away which caused terrible trouble with my bowel which went into fast forward mode for 10 days!! :-)) I made sure that I kept my fluid intake up but at the end of those 10 days I really felt that my body had had enough and that I should stop. Then Hey Presto everything came right! I now no longer have a very severe dose of Irritable Bowel Syndrome that caused me much pain and discomfort, my inflammation improved [anti-inflammatory supplements too of course) and my energy improved . So in answer to your question I followed it very closely to start with, but would reccomend others do a slow change. Dr M used to list the things in order of importance doesn't he do that any more? First of course is SUGAR but I believe most low carb diets suugest that it's not such a good idea either. It's really trial and error after that if you feel you can't do it all. I have found dairy to be the next worst one for me (boo hoo, love choclolate, but it definately hates me:-((!) then meat. Once you've rid your body of all the nasties you can slowly add them back and just see how you react, listen to your body as it will tell you. Don't know about you but I just hate being good (goes against the grain:-)) so I really pig out every now and then and boy do I suffer for it...............but it's worth every naughty mouthfull <grin> I wish you lots of success! hugs, lisbeth >From: eson@... > >Dear group, >Yesterday I started minocin. I've read Dr. Mercola's guidelines for the >diet. Do all of you follow this diet? How closely/loosely?
