Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I wrote recently about my aunt who had just found out she had breast cancer. She was on hormone replacement and some new arthritis medication, they took her off the hormones and left her on the arthritis medication. In one week her lump shrunk drastically in size and she might not have to go through chemo before the surgery. I also believe her faith had something to do with it too. She has been very upbeat about this. The stress has been difficult on me though these last two weeks. Finding out about my aunt, and the new manager where my husband works wants all the guys gone, so he can replace them with his buddies. It is a small company with 3 employees, last month the other guy was forced to leave. I've been so upset about losing our benefits, there is no problem with finding a job it is wether or not, they have a pre-existing clause for insurance. So, I cancelled my appointment with my new endo and hadn't been taking my medication. Honestly believe I was in remission, but was going to wait for the blood work at the end of the month, with the stress, my heart rate went up over 40 points. Mowing the lawn in 80 degree weather wasn't good! I made a new appointment, just couldn't help the rage. The worse thing is my husband has known this guy for 14 yrs., but he is intimidated my husband knows more than him. My husband is 45 yrs. old been in the excavating business for 25 yrs., had his own business for 18 yrs., he should know more than a 28 yr. old. We can carry our insurance through COBRA for 18 months at a cost of $575.52. Needless to say I didn't take my pre-test my head was such a fog. The instructor told my husband it is for my benefit to see what I've learned and what I need to study, Chuck did bad he was so upset about me when it came to triage he mind went blank. That should have been easy for him, he's been involved with the fire dept. for 29 yrs. Chuck will give me the test tonight. The instructor told Chuck last week he noticed something was wrong with me. Sorry I just needed to vent a little, I feel like I am the problem when it comes to benefits because of this disease. We've had insurance turn us down before because of this. I've been trying to control the stress and doing good, this was just too much. Have a nice day! Debbie
Guest guest
Hi Debbie if your aunt is hormone receptive she will probaly do well on tamoxifin. It is a miracle drug for many people. Your husband's new boss. I guess all the bullies aren't in the medical profession.
