Guest guest
Janey, This hair test is improved over the previous one! You probably don't feel better, because your Ca/Mg/Na/K numbers still look like you have a thyroid/adrenal issue. Your copper is now in the green - that's good! Uranium and arsenic have dropped from yellow to green as well! You now have only three reds, which means you no longer meet the counting rules. Have you done any chelation between these two hair tests? Or used any special supplements? Cadmium is higher than before - that might mean you are now able to excrete it, which of course is a good thing. One thing you should check - your antimony result below says .815 and the color is green. Can't be right since ..815 is greater than ref range (< .05). Either the .815 or the green is a typo. Whatever you did between the two tests (supplements, diet, lifestyle, chelation) has helped somewhat. You still need to do something for your thyroid/adrenals - that is likely to make you feel a lot better. -- > > POTENTIALLY TOXIC ELEMENTS > element result ref range color > ============================================= > aluminum 3.7 <7.0 green > > > antimony 0.815 <0.050 green > arsenic 0.036 <0.060 green > beryllium <0.01 <0.020 > bismuth 0.074 <0.10 green > cadmium 0.12 <1.10 between green & yellow > lead 0.15 <1.0 green > mercury <0.03 <1.1 > platinum <0.003 <0.005 > thallium 0.002 <0.010 green > thorium <0.001 <0.005 > uranium 0.007 <0.060 green > nickel 0.14 <0.40 green > silver 0.04 <0.15 green > tin 0.14 <0.30 green > titanium 0.60 <1.0 green > > ESSENTIAL AND OTHER ELEMENTS > element result ref range color under/over 50% > ============================================================ > Calcium 510 300-1200 green under > Magnesium 48 35-120 green under > Sodium 16 12-90 green under > Potassium 6 8-38 green under > Copper 32 12-35 green over > Zinc 200 140-220 green over > Manganese 0.44 0.15-0.65 green over > Chromium 0.33 0.20-0.40 green over > Vanadium 0.019 0.018-0.065 green under > Molybdenum 0.024 0.028-0.056 yellow under > Boron 0.14 0.30-2.0 red under > Iodine 0.08 0.25-1.3 red under > Lithium <0.004 0.007-0.023 red under > Phosphorus 207 160-250 white > Selenium 0.91 0.95-1.7 yellow under > Strontium 1.2 0.05-7.6 green under > Sulfur 52000 44500-52000 green over > Barium 1.6 0.26-3.0 green over > Cobalt 0.009 0.013-0.050 yellow under > Iron 8.2 5.4-14 white > Germanium 0.040 0.045-0.065 yellow under > Rubidium 0.010 0.007-0.096 green under > Zirconium 0.076 0.020-0.42 white >
Guest guest
stephanie-thank you so much for taking out the time to look over both my results. yes, my mistake about the antimony it is:0.015. i totally agree with you on the thyroid/adrenal thing. i must get to the bottom of that. i have been on this roller coaster ride for 3 years with anxiety, brain fog... i thank you again.. janey
Guest guest
sorry, forgot to add that i have not chelated at all and just used very little supplements. maybe a round of dmps would do me good? janey
Guest guest
I had the impression from your posts on A-M and here that you had not chelated. Yes, I think it is a good idea. Your body seems to be making some progress on its own, based on your hair tests, but you can help it a lot by chelating. Can you remind me - when did you have your amalgams removed? I think you should try to get on thyroid/adrenal support before you start chelating if possible. It will be a lot easier on your body that way. Also, adding Andy's recommended supplements is important to support you during chelation. Do you have his Amalgam Illness book? It would be very helpful for you. -- > > sorry, forgot to add that i have not chelated at all and just used > very little supplements. maybe a round of dmps would do me good? > > janey >
Guest guest
all nine amalgams where totally out a year & a half ago. yep, i have andy's 2 books that i read over & over again. i heard that blood tests are useless for checking thyroid and to do a saliva test? the thing that puzzles me is that i'm sick for about 2 months, then get better for a while, then it hits me again. even though i have the dmps, i don't think i'm strong enough to do it. you are right i need these adrenals/thyriod & candida under control. also after i eat, i get the ringing in my right ear...agh! i don't know whats worse, the anxiety, hives or nausea... thanx again stephanie your full of info! ~janey~

People have different opinions about this. I've used blood tests for thyroid, and saliva for adrenal testing. From what I've seen these are the most often recommended for each. If I recall correctly, Andy recommends blood testing for both. > the thing that puzzles me is that i'm sick for about 2 months, then > get better for a while, then it hits me again. That is puzzling. What symptoms are the worst when you get sick? Is it more physical or emotional or both? Does anything seem to bring it on? Does it come on suddenly or gradually? Is there anything you do when feeling sick that seems to help get you out of that sick period? (Like maybe you don't eat as much for awhile, or eat different things, or rest a lot, or something). I'm not sure I can really help, but asking yourself these questions might help figure it out. In fact, keeping a diary of how you are feeling on a daily basis can be useful in helping figure out things like this. > even though i have the dmps, i don't think i'm strong enough to do it. > you are right i need these adrenals/thyriod & candida under control. > also after i eat, i get the ringing in my right ear...agh! That's interesting. Is it always brought on by eating? Does it go away before you eat again? Makes me think of candida, possibly. I had terrible ear congestion, ringing, and itching in my ears before I got candida under control. -- > i don't know whats worse, the anxiety, hives or nausea... > > thanx again stephanie your full of info! > > ~janey~ >
