Watch that, because I believe it can be related to RA, and/or to lupus. I had major issues with my jaw while in high school. My oral surgeon was convinced it was RA, then my blood test came back negative and so he decided it must not be. However, since I had an incidence of JRA when I was 3, then that jaw thing, and now again more issues, this time with hands and feet, I've been diagnosed with RA despite the negative RF bloodwork. I've been having problems with the left side of my jaw for almost a year. I had TMJ years ago, and my dentist thinks that is what is wrong now. It's gotten worse since I started treatment with the RA. My dentist knows I have RA now. He said he could give me a referal to a TMJ clinic, but I told him that I would ask the Rheumy when I went in at the end of the month to see what he says about it.
