Jeannie......sarcoidosis and RA

Dear Jeannie,

Although most people with RA will never be diagnosed with sarcoidosis,

some people with sarcoidosis will also be given a diagnosis of RA. I have

included a link which discusses autoimmune disorders and their links to one

another.

I too suffer two autoimmune disorders as does my young daughter. I

have Hashimoto's disease which is an autoimmune thyroiditis necessitating

full replacement therapy and just recently have been diagnosed with RA.

My daughter who is in college, was diagnosed with Hashimotos when age 8, and

then with Type I autoimmune (juvenile)diabetes at age 9.
