Guys,

I know I sound like a born-again enthusiast here, but these are classic

Lyme disease symptoms (neuropathy, knee and other joint pain ...). I

absolutely believe everyone on this list should do serious research into

Lyme, my belief is that a huge percentage of CFS is actually Lyme. Do some

research, and tell me if I am wrong... really.

Hi

Thanks for your reply to my posting. I had not considered that. My doctor

finally agreed to an orthopaedic check up. It will be interesting to see what he

says.

Can someone please explain to me what exactly neuropathy is? I have had this weird sensation off and on for the past couple of years in the same spot on my leg. It feels like needles on the inside - it's not muscular, not a joint thing, but definitely a nerve thing. Sometimes it is so painful/weird that it keeps me up at night. Is this part of RA? I once asked my rheumy about it because I thought it might be a side effect of one of the drugs I take. But he didn't shed any light on the subject.

hi, Gloria! it could be restless-leg

syndrome...I have that...my hubby says I kick

like a Rockette! LOL sometimes the only way I

can get it to stop is to get out of bed, and walk

around the house...hubby then says I am just like

a gerbil...running around all nite! gentle hugs,

I get that too, but I wonder if it isn't the plaque flowing through my veins from time to time. I asked both drs and they looked at me like I had 2 heads! I think it's the plaque flowing. Just an opinion! ~ Hasenstab <saludo@...> wrote:

I found their official website at http://www.naet.com/

I think I have a cousin using this. Seems they Medical Deity's were failing with all the allergies they had accrued and something very similar to this was what they went to. Took a while but they had 90% of allergies eliminated by something like this. Seems they said it took about a year to get that far.

Anyone familiar with NAET....it has to do with allergies elimination? I can't speak on the subject cause I don't know but bite size info. I do know a friend who had tons of jaw and dental problems and after thousands of $, went to TX, got tested and is now working with a practioner for NAET. She's getting great results she said. Marilyn Chernoff is the person she consults with and you don't have to be local as it can be over phone. I have no experience in this area.

Thanks for all the replies regarding neuropathy.I do realize it could be a toxic reaction and cannot as yettell what did it. I don't eat a lot of fats and never cook anyoils. I am NOT diabetic at all.The neuropathy has healed, but it took about 3 weeks andwhen it was bad, it was quite painful and made it almostimpossible to walk.Although a supervised fast is ideal, I am unable to undertakethis at this time. My diet is quite healthy, I think. Lots of rawfruits and veggies and only a handful of almonds/day for thesake of calcium.I was wondering if there were some herbs known to heal thiscondition.....The whole episode was quite mysterious to say the least!Sue

Hi Toni

Question, have you ever been to see a chiropractor?? Sometimes this helps depending on what the problem really is.... Tryed any hot/cold therapy?? When this happens, what have you been doing?? On your feet alot, exercising? etc..

Hello all,

Hope you are all doing well. I am curious as to what this might be myself. I have been suffering with similiar for over a year now. My legs go numb to the point that I find myself on my butt...lol it has happened many a time now. The worse is my feet. They hurt all the time and they burn. This week we have had a blast of summer and my feet are really swollen and painful. I just figured they were alittle hotten then normal. I guess they won't be modeling any sandals anytime soon :) I'm just doing the best I can and wrapping them in cold towels for now. I used to waitress 70 hours a week. I could only imagine doing that now with my feet the way they are. The leg situation comes and goes so I am not concerned about that. I am not even concerned about my feet but they just feel like hot stones all the time and they hurt.

OK figured I would complain alittle since I haven't in a while. What would I do without you?

Have a wonderful evening everyone

Blessings,

Toni

Thanks, Suzanne. I will look at Dr. Schulze.And. no, Shari, it isnt' plantar fasciatis (?) becauseit is a tingling of the whole leg and pain in the whole legaccompanied by burning feet. (however, burning feetcan be a symptom of b12 deficiency which is controversiallya problem w/ eating raw. So...eat some dirt or take Xobaline).

Try some capsicum cream (cayenne) also try eating bananas (potassium).. if these don't help.. try soaking your feet in acv 20 minutes or so a day... Also, when was the last time you did any fasting/cleansing...which brings me to what you're eating/drinking... lemon water?

A water fast would be good also.

SuziToni <tone102@...> wrote:

Hi Suzi,

Hope this day finds you well. Have not been to a chiropractor for this. As far as hot and cold therapy well the hot I guess would be my shower and then I do run cold water on my feet. Can't deal with that one much above the feet though :)

When the legs and/or leg (seems like this favors my left one more) decides to act up, it does not have any particular time preference. I can awaken with it feeling numb and numb it might stay for the entire day or more or sometimes I can just be walking in the store and next thing I know I am sitting in there...haha (way too many stop and shop incidents!).

As for the feet: they just hurt and burn all the time. Seems like they never give me a break. Most of the time it is bearable. I get those moments where they hurt extremely and that is saying alot since my pain threshold is very high. Today I have dibilitating cramps so I am not minding my feet so much(whole other mega topic there). So I guess in a sense, they are kinda getting somewhat of a break today.

Thankyou Suzi

Toni

Do you take anything like complete nutrition or a multi vitamin?

Toni <tone102@...> wrote:

Suzi,

My diet is as best as I can afford it to be but it is pretty decent. I probably consume on average about a quarter cup of cayenne a day as I love it and bananas are the only fruit that I eat so I sure do get enough of those though I do get tired of them. I drink alot of water.

The last cleanse I did was that 3 day juice cleanse.....cannot remember the month. Have not done all water unless I count the years that I did not eat but nothing like that under normal circumstances.

Thankyou,

Toni

Yep... if it gets too thick, reheat it and add more oil.

check the archives under how to Liniment, Ointments & Salves

Have you ever considered complete nutrition?

Toni <tone102@...> wrote:

Suzi,

That sounds easy enough. I have beeswax here too. I just do not get though how that melts and hardens and one is able to use it. I do not mean to sound dumb. I am serious. I had tried experimenting with some things and melted and cooled the beeswax and it hardened to where it was difficult to get at to put anywhere. Did that make sense? lol

And no not taking much of anything right now except Vit E and super tonic if I remember.
