Guest guest
Hi Babs, I browsed Joe's letter and will study it better later. I am still recovering from our hour long walk down the creek and up the back field. Some free advice Babs, get to the doctor, gp or ENT and get a culture if you have any discharge from your ear. My gp didn't take a culture and was treating me for bacterial when it was mould and the drops didn't do anything. By then the infection had caused the perforation and destroyed the hammer. At least that is what they tell me. The first I knew something was wrong with my ear was when I was listening to the radio in the kitchen and it felt like someone turned the volume down, then I had terrible ear aches and a discharge. I went to emerg and they (a nurse) told me it was wax buildup and gave me Tylenol 3 which I didn't take. Then I saw my gp on Mon. and that's when he gave me the drops for bacteria. I hope you get your ear seen to Babs because it could develop into something serious. Bev >Hey Bev! Assume by now you've read Joe's " reprint " ? > >BTW, Bev, my right ear is now really bothering me - pain today. I'm sick of >drs. and don't want to go to ENT dr. Geez, I know I'm whining but.... :>( > >Babs
