Guest guest
Hi all, DisabledPerson.Com was made aware of the dialogue from the September 5th show of Politically Incorrect. In the course of the show, the host brought up an article written about Prince of England who is championing sexual surrogacy for the disabled. His remarks outlined in bold below were not only distasteful but were demeaning to the disabled community. We have sent the e-mail below to ABC.Com expressing our feelings about these remarks. I'm writing to all of you to ask you to send e-mails to ABC to voice your concerns and demand an apology. E-mails can be sent to webmaster@.... Let's flood their mailbox. We can't sit by without a response to this. This casual conversation is an indication of how the disabled are perceived. Let's change their perception. Malfa-DisabledPerson.Com. www.disabledperson.com. To whom it may concened , my name is Malfa and I am the publisher of the online magazine DisabledPerson.Com. I want to let you know that I received a number of e-mails regarding the September 5th, 2000 PI show where your host Bill called the disabled " the most frustrated people in the world who cannot, in any way, find sexual intimacy " I'm telling you that the disabled community is not laughing even if your host is. His remarks were insensitive and cruel to say the least. His lack of human compassion is an abomination. The disabled viewers watching PI were hurt by this man's insensitivity. I'm going to post his remarks on our Issues and Opinion page so that all of our members can read what he said. I think that an apology is in order. Malfa I read this in the paper last week about Prince of England is championing sexual surrogacy for the disabled, which really means prostitution for the disabled, who are very often the most frustrated people in the world who cannot, in any way, find sexual intimacy. It's almost like being married. [ Laughter ] I kid, of course
