Help please....new to group....Andy!! (long)

Hi listmates!

Thanks so much for allowing me to join you! I really appreciate it!

My name is Ronni. I am mom to 9 kids...6 of which are at home, 4 of

which are autistic spectrum....so you may have seen me on other

forums about autism. The 3 older ones, hubby and I are all metal

affected...and here is my newest and pressing issue...

I was doing some research on a problem that hubby has and was needing

to ask a question....

He has a huge buffalo hump on his shoulders....I have been trying to

garner some information on it...his drs aren't concerned but he does

show a lot of the signs of Cushings...but I am not sure whether or

not it is the issue or not....

Would it be appropriate to try him on a dose of nutricology adrenal

cortex...if so how much and how often....I am very concerned about

him as he is weighting in at 325 lbs and isn't eating alot...and is

fairly active....have tried to get his thyroid checked...but they say

it is normal...but he is having trouble with adjusting to

temperatures....would iodine drops help? I am trying to get him to

get his fillings pulled but with the death of his mother and the

settling of the estate...he is unable to look ahead....I do have him

on 400 mg of SAMe and that is helping some with the joints and some

of the depression....but am trying to find things that I can do to

help so he will fight for himself.... Also I believe that his mother

died of acute adrenal failure...they never could get her salt intake

regulated...and was a key issue I believe...and she too had the hump

on her back...so I am duly concerned as hubby also is low in

sodium....

I would appreciate any and all help....He has a very heavy metal

toxin level....so I am fighting to get the fillings out and start him

on chelation......we did go to an ND who did heavy iv therapy of EDTA

with his fillings in and said that ALA was a good thing for him....I

am so thankful for Andy and Dana and several other people's help on

several groups that opened my eyes to the danger that was being done

to my family...
