Guest guest
Yes. Merry Christmas and my heart goes out to those alone like me. My daughter is gone. Tomorrow is a pot of coffee and a good book...I guess.I sit here and cry while I write this. It is my second Christmas like this. Hard to get a hold on it for some reason.God Bless to all, Janet
Guest guest
Hi Janet and all who are "alone" this Christmas. I hope we can add some cheer to each of you as we enjoy this Christmas time. I think we first need to get our basics together! Christmas is not a day for us to receive and expect a lot of worldly happiness. It is the day we celebrate the birth of our savour. Jesus was born to a young couple who had very little and could find no place to stay other than a stable! Now this was adaquate for him! Are we not better off with our homes or rooms? The relatives of Jesus were living elsewhere and did not show up at Christmas. Jesus met strangers in the form of shepards and wisemen. The call went out via a single star in the sky and was known only to those who believed in God. The joy we receive at Christmas is the knowledge that Christ was born and that he is our savour. The birth of hope and a divine hereafter! This is a time to rejoice and be happy about our future! So we will celebrate and share our blessings with each other. We can conjure up many cyber goodies to enjoy and better still worship our Lord in all that we do. So lets tune in to each other as we celebrate ! God's Blessings are always best shared.
