Another Mark Whittaker Update

Hi All,

Thanks each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers. Mark is still in ICU, still has a temp of 100, still sounds pretty croupy, but did manage to sit up in a chair for an hour today, did get a meal for the first time tonight (pureed, of course), and the dx at this time is "aspiration pneumonia". His heart does not seem to be the problem but his careless eating and drinking may be the culprit. Needless to say, we will be on the pureed food plan once he gets home. The poor thing is very tired and very weak but they are treating him well. I'll update from time to time.
