Guest guest
My Dr said it is very hard to qualify for fibromyagia with soc. sec. They have to disprove through lab test it is something else, and all that is left is the fibromyalgia even if one has all the tender test points and other complaints common with it, sleepiness, aches pains, extreemlly tired, confused, depressed and all the other nine yards of complaints. CFS is an umbrella that covers a multitude of illnesses. He wouldn't put CFS even though it is listed on my medical records because it would be ignored. He put the sleep disorder, fibromyalgia, and some other things I had that were really long names but come down to it it was spasms of esophagus which are so painful one thinks they are having a heart attack. Food will not go down but will be coughed up. It just sticks in the throat. A long name that was for the proisis I have (sp?). I said why should they consider that one? He said, " It can be quite serious. " This Dr I am told by this attny that helped another lady is very good in filling out the forms. Plus the Dr has several relatives with fibro so he is very well familiar with it.
