hi there - i would say you put too much in too fast - i'd do soup

again and then work 1 new food in every 2-4 days - seems so hard at

first but i'm happier to eat what i know i can handle even if it's

still not much at 7 months - it will give you a chance to see what

you tolerate - keep a journal

i still can't do DCCC so don't panic if you don't see it - my stores

have it by the cream cheese - almost that type of package but white

and soft- rectangle shaped

i still see bits of carrots and more orange if eating a lot so i'm

not sure - i remember people trying to figure that out when i started

here maybe someone has an answer - pureeing may help tolerate in the

beginning too

good luck

Hey guys,Specifically about the Intro diet - I followed it strictly for two days, and then yesterday (day 3), I had chicken soup with carrots for lunch, and poached salmon with squash and tomatoes peeled and steamed very well. It didn't bother me and as far as symptoms, I'm still having the same watery diarrhea, but much less frequently. Rather than going 3-6 times in the morning, I'm only going once or twice.

My problem wasn't D, it was C and lots of inflammation and pain. Within 24 hours of the intro diet, the pain was to a tolerable level and I was able to stop pain meds and haven't started back in 7 months. I still have C problems and hope one day, as I am able to add more fiberous food into my diet, that it will go away too. You are def seeing results fairly quickly. YAY!!!!I still have a question about the carrots - I'm seeing bits of carrot in my stools and the stools themselves are pretty orange. Is that normal? Or does that mean that I'm not digesting them properly?

I have been on SCD 7 months and whenever I go intro my stools have an orange color to them as well. Did you have undigested food in your stools before SCD? Since you are still healing, your stools will change quite often.I'm switching back to eating soups because they're easier and better for me, but yesterday I just needed the brain boost from the salmon. If I can eat stuff like that without a problem, is it okay to do so? Or should I try starting the Intro diet again and following it more strictly? I'm not eating any DCCC (haven't found it - any ideas for sources in Houston? I tried Whole Foods already) or yogurt, but I want to wait and add it into my diet bit by bit.

After 2-3 days on the intro diet, you should start adding new foods, one at a time, in 2-4 day intervals. My body tolerated different meats before veggies. I go back to intro when I can feel that I am getting inflammation and after a couple days it's gone I start adding foods back in 2 day intervals. I have never had DCCC. It's not important. You can drip your yogurt until it is really really thick and use it in recipes. You can find sources of DCCC here:

http://www.scdiet.org/8resources/drycurd_sources.htmlAlso, what about grilled chicken or fish? I've looked on pecanbread and scdiet, but I haven't found anything about grilling. Is that SCD legal?

From the beginning, I ate food from the grill both charcoal and gas and had no problems with it. Again, just try things slowly and if your body handles it, then great!!!
