Well, I'm 5 years post and have no problem with Mexican food and salsa. I

personally have never been a huge fan of spicy food but we just came back

from New Orleans and let me tell you! They believe in there hot sauces and

spices! Some great eats there! <G> I had no problem with anything I ate

there--except maybe my tongue.

I think it more an individual thing. Some people can eat it, some

can't. I would definitely give yourself plenty of healing time and then

work with it gradually to see what or it you can handle the spicy stuff.

Deb in Nebraska

I sent it out Deb in another post . Thanks for the hugs for us and it sure

has been a ruff year and I hope and pray to God that things soon get better.

I am worried about my granny since my dad dies she seems to be seeing people

in her room at night and the PCP had her on Celexa and I called and

complained yesterday and he pulled her off of it so we will see if the

people leave and she has not been afraid of this until one night it was a

big spider, another a bed of rats and then a snake so I think it is the

medicine I sure hope so but my dad was her only child and it has been ruff

on her .OH BY the Way and just found out recently that they

are going to be parents so maybe this will help *fingers crossed*

Someone once said to me the Lord won't give no more than you can bear and I

said no but he is pushing .I guess he wants me stronger for some reason .

Hugs hugs sweetie - I went back into the archives and looked up Mexican chicken

- and I couldn't find it anywhere - makes me crazed when that happens. When you

get a second - and there is no rush - would you please please repost it - I even

went back into the files and looked just in case. Does granny take any other

meds - any to sleep- and pain pills - there are lots of meds out there that

cause 'funny' reactions in people - especially the elderly. And - although I

hesitate to mention this on an open list - um - just who is she seeing? Does

she know them? Just a thought sweetie... I am not nuts - just believe in many

things I cannot see personally that I know exist. Like God...smiles softly.

Congrats to you guys and to and - has to get this done and

over and back on his feet - he will have a baby rocking/walking/feeding job -

just about the time he will be able to do it- can't do it alone and the

baby will need daddy too!! I am so very very excited for you all. It has been

a hard year of loss for us too hon - so my heart aches for and with you every

day. And you guys are always in my prayers.

The saying is - 'I know God won't give me anything I can't handle. I just wish

he didn't trust me so much.' - and - the quote is from - Mother - how

fitting...

You hang in there - keep up the good work - be good to you please...let me know

if I can do anything to help make your day smoother...

Love ya- deb in NE
