Guest guest
Hi guys I was just thinking and decided to share these thoughts .Every year we have an annual Octoberfest here in Hohenwald and It is a huge ordeal there are miles of yard sales and all kinds of arts and crafts and I usually just set up cause I am not able to walk and look for more than an hour or so well guess what this little lady is not setting up this year I plan to make a four day ordeal out of walking and taking in yard sales and all the craft booths and looking and seeing what I am missing . I can't express how thankful I am to DR who recommended me to have this surgery she has saved my life . *now teary eyed * Last year I was so out of shape I just knew I would die soon without surgery then decided to have surgery and just knew I would die from that too so I turned it over to God and said lead me through this God if it is for me and he did ..January 6th of this year I weighed 310 and wore a size 46 pants and a 4-5x top and a size 14 panties, 46dd bra, size 9-91/2 shoe I had sleep apnea and osteo Arthritis, bladder incontinence, fibromylgia and shortness of breath , borderline high blood pressure . and now eight months and a half later I am 211 At least I was about 2 weeks ago Maybe I am a century club member and don't know yet *grin* I don't weigh at home yet but will start soon .I now wear a size 18 pants (getting looser) ,XL top ,size 8 panties and a 36 d Bra and a size 8-81/2 shoe and would I do this again Yea in a New York minute . Sure I still have osteo arthritis and Fibro but I no longer have bladder incontinence, sleep apnea and the borderline High blood pressure and Thank God I can now walk , talk and breath at the same time To all of you with surgery nearing and as you start to feel scared and question yourself you are not alone we have all done it .I remember one week before my surgery thinking I would be a better wife and mother and granny to my grandchildren and then out of left field came this thought but what if you die and never see those beautiful babies again ,well to make a long story short I cried for days and I came here with my fears and I had several friend here to call and calm me down and I was so touched by this . I turned this over to God and He has blessed me so and I am thankful to this group,my family and friends but most of all to DR Dyer and God . Now I have bored you all to tears I will hush I was in a sharing mood . TN

Guest guest
Your story had me wiping tears myself. I think everyone has those feelings...happiness for having the surgery, but scared deep down too. Sounds like so much fun, you will have to post the dates and maybe some of us can come to Hoenwald and all meet up. If I am not mistaken that is close to Columbia...I think... hugs Sherry in TN (Pre-op)

Guest guest
, Tears yes but bored never!!! I think if we don't get our stories out there to the new pre ops then who knows how many of them decide not to do it. That's part of the reason why I said yes to the article but also cause I feel as you do I would do it in a New York, Miami, St Louis, and Denver Min! I am sure you have heard a lot of times how beautiful you are but take a breath and see how precious that breath is? That's how precious you are!!! Thank you for all that you are and all that you do!! Hugs and Loves! Theresa~ *The most beautiful things in the world can not be seen or even touched.
