Guest guest
Humira really stings, too. But I just take a really long time in injecting it. About a minute or so, and that makes it bearable. gloria
Guest guest
hi, Gloria! is your Humira refrigerated? my enbrel is, and the 1/2 shot, done 2 times/wk, is taken cold. but my rheumy told me to let the new double shot warm to room temperature, before injecting. I am thinking (and that can be dangerous, LOL) that is one is taken at frig. temp, why let the double strength injection warm?? maybe that's why it stings?? gentle hugs, Marcia --- gloriarex@... wrote: > Humira really stings, too. Guest guest
Hi Marcia: Humira is kept refrigerated. I was never told to let it warm to room temperature before injecting. I don't know whether or not the temp of the drug makes injecting it less painful. gloria
Guest guest
: Try injecting VERY slowly. I find that helps. It's weird to be sitting there with a needle in your leg for about a minute or two, but it's definitely worth it if you have to self-inject. Really, I push it at about 1 mm per 4-5 seconds if I need to. And if I feel a sting, I back off. gloria
