Guest guest
My son was originally diagnosed with Crohn's of the ileum, and his first colonoscopy showed little inflammation in his colon. Now it's the other way around and recent investigations showed more Crohn's in the colon than in the small intestine. Because Asacol is delivered to the colon he is thinking about switching from Pentasa to Asacol. He has been on Pentasa for 10 years. Has anyone else made this switch, and if so what effect did it have? By the way, he is doing great on the SCD second time around. He is going much slower this time which seems to have helped. He is also on Entocort and will begin to taper soon - hopefully he will stay well.
