If you are getting bright red blood go back to the doctor and tell him you are concerned. I have had quite a few of these (I had colon cancer twice) and have never had any post scope problems.

I had a coloscopy Dec 10th and am still bleeding a bit.One small polyp was removed and cauterized...The doctor thinks the bleeding may because I have been taking aspirin every day.a bunch of clots came out last night...he doesn't seem too concerned.Anyone ever have bleeding after this procedore?Thanks,Pris
