I'll never eat frozen vegetables again, I need to learn how to freeze them myself and learn to can, but who has time for that? Maybe it's not so time consuming once you learn how.

Re: spinach and/or olive oil

Hi Ann,I think that is what Kim M was telling me a while ago.I also learned they can rinse it in chemicals along with the water andit doesn't dry properly etc.JodiSCD 11 monthsCrohn's/Colitis>> Regarding frozen vegetables I googled additives and found out thatFormaldehyde is used to disinfect frozen vegetables. This could bewhat is making many of us sick and why it's only certain brands thatcause problems.

Jodi, When you freeze vegetables and fruits do you blanche them first? How do you prepare them before sealing them? Do you set your freezer very cold to quick freeze?

Ann,I feel the same way. I will not buy any frozen veggies or fruits.I don't know how to can- I am sure that is super useful.I did however just buy a vacuum sealer so I am freezing stuff thatway. I buy pasture fed grass finished meat and grind it myself. Hasmade a huge difference in how I feel!JodiSCD 11 monthsCrohn's/ColitisI wonder if there is a class about how to can things here in NYC?>> I'll never eat frozen vegetables again, I need to learn how tofreeze them myself and learn to can, but who has time for that? I can use it also. Some brands evidently don't use the chemicals.

However, I happen to LIKE fresh spinach.
