Guest guest
Danny and Caroline, Since the beginning of the diet I’ve always had issues with Welch’s grape juice. I do much better with Knudsen’s “Just Concord” --and juicing. Great idea to contact Welch’s company. I believe that Elaine rarely approved anything from concentrate, and Welch’s is from concentrate.. Does anyone know what process Elaine initially approved? Guest guest
Caroline: Since every on the intro diet uses it......I'm sure they researched it thoroughly.Kay-lynnWhen you row another person across the river, you get there yourself..- Fortune cookieSubject: Re: Could Welchs with Vitamin C have starch? To: BTVC-SCD Date: Sunday, September 7, 2008, 12:56 PM The Welch's I've been getting is not calcium fortified... it's Vitamin C fortified. Wonder if there are illegals added to the Vitamin C? Guest guest
At any time, an ingredient may be added to a product or its processing. For a product to definitely be non-problematic, then, a company would need to be contacted regularly. If your gut says "ouch", listen to that and avoid the product. My son and I did poorly with Welch's grape juice. (But I believe that, in our case, it was the sugars.)Baden_
