Guest guest
Kay A dark black stool isn't usually a sign of die-off, but rather indicates bleeding (unless you've eaten some really dark foods in the past few days). I'd check with your doctor soon, unless you already know you have bleeding somewhere in the digestive tract. Mushiness is another matter, and I wouldn't worry about it. Usually stools firm up the longer you've been on SCD. Unless you have my problem, which is digestive dysmotility, so I work very hard to maintain mushiness [grin]. While it's true detoxing and healing phases will change the stool color and texture, die-off symptoms tend to be more like achiness and fatigue, as if you have a mild case of the flu for a few days.
