i have massive food intolerence allergy issues and spent months researching different meats...a reliable supplier of mail order meat or that some health food stores also carry is Blackwing...they have ostrich and bison and I've had several extensive conversations with the co. owner and they told me that some of their customers with autistic kids had great results with their duck and guinea hen becasue the protein structure is different than common meats and for whatever reason, the kids have tolerated them better...maybe you want to check in to them? Dr. Mercola is big on their ostrich...best mk

ps the ostrich does have a pungent smell when cooking it so be prepared!

So Marilyn... What exactly does ostrich meat taste like? Is it a dark meat? We are looking for some new "meat" choices, as red meat and pork really upset our son's GI system.
