Hey Marilyn,

I hope you and Harry have a really wonderful time!!

Sounds nice to spend it with such a dear friend..

Thanks for all your constant, selfless help (you need this vacation!!

I think it's over-due with the surgery n all') and I am sure we will

all be quoting you!

BTW- How did that appointment go with the pain doctor? How are you

doing with all of that now?

names of those things straight.)

Mara,

Yes, we're headed for Dragon*Con.

www.dragoncon.org

for those interested in such weirdness.

Ireland would have been lots more fun than cancer surgery -- not to

mention less expensive. For what we spent for ramps, super poles, extra

vitamins, plus size hospital gowns, and all the rest, we could have taken

that trip to Ireland! I know I would have had more fun.

Travel food includes beef and broccoli pie and spinach-stuffed pork

roast. Also hard boiled eggs, souffle bread and crackers, avocado chicken

salad. Probably a few other things if I have the time.

Have a good trip. I'm envious about you knowing Anne McCaffrey, one

of my favorite authors. I expect you have some fascinating and

entertaining conversations [grin]. It's not the same as visiting

Ireland, I know, but at least you will have a good time.

I'm sure we'll all behave ourselves here while you're gone...

Have a great time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Gustav

doesn't come close to your house or mine!
