Marilyn,

The Maverick Grinder is so awesome!!

I am super happy with it!

Very easy to use and clean and it is compact too comparing to the

other ones out there.

Question- what do you with the cookie attachment?

Also, how long do you keep ground meat in the fridge? Do you think I

would be ok making patties for 2 days worth?

Thanks,

Jodi

Heah -- now you know why they'll pry my Maverick away when it's

deceased.... and mine is 7 years old!

Er... mine had a pasta maker attachment, which I never used, since I

started SCD about four months after I bought the Maverick. I wonder if

you can use the cookie maker to make, well, SCD cookies?

You could grind meat, make patties and freeze them, taking down what you

will use the next day and putting it in the fridge to defrost. Cooked

meat keeps a bit better in the fridge, but I try to be cautious with the

raw meat.
