Guest guest Posted September 30, 2008 Report Share Posted September 30, 2008 So- I got into my morning dance to steam zucchini- chop the ends off, peel and slice. I place beautiful Greenmarket Biodynamic Zucch's in steamer pot and put on stove top. On to next thing- making fresh apple juice.. Suddenly- I smell a burnt smell and I'm like " what on Earth is that?!?! " I kind of avoid it to find myself seconds later flailing my nostrils *sniff sniff* OHH MY GOD I DIDN'T PUT WATER IN THE STEAMER " So my steamer pot has like a lovely brown ring in it. Can I get this out?? Anyone know some kind of kitchen voodoo? I had to chuck the zucchini- the essence of burnt smell permeated it way too much didn't want to risk nausea. Annoyed..
