Guest guest Posted May 21, 2001 Report Share Posted May 21, 2001 The 12-Step movement is particularly important because it 1) allows the govt to get away from the establishment clause. 2) ties into 'medical' treatment, so it can be coercive under th guise of helping, and via using commitment precedents and 3) because it has embedded in it fascistic ideas (see Ragge's book on this, which is one of the few places where you find this material put into print in recent years). But the 12-Step movementis only a minority part of the overall trend, albeit a particularlyimportant part. Could you expound on that last phrase, please?
