Harry and I are going to be gone for eight days or so, starting next

Wednesday. Shadow and Sunny will be at home with a pet sitter since the

tropics seem to have temporarily settled down.

We're heading north to Dayton, Ohio, then over to Albany, NY, back by way

of Rochester, NY, then back to Dayton, and then home.

I'm in the throes of SCD-preparations for the trip.

Foodstuffs going with us:

Cheddar and Bacon Muffin-sized Quiches for breakfasts

Ground roast chicken which can be mixed with either homemade ranch

dressing or avocado mayonnaise to make chicken salad sandwiches for

lunches

Homemade ranch dressing (dripped half & half yogurt with chives,

parsley, onion, garlic, white pepper and salt)

Avocado Mayonnaise (avocados, lemon juice, salt, white pepper whipped

together)

LOTS of souffle bread

Krivel Krackers (my own flavor, sharp cheddar and Parmesan, if I have

time)

Bison and Broccoli Pie for several dinners

Pork roll stuffed with DCCC and spinach, seasoned with oregano and

garlic, baked, then sliced, for other dinners

We'll be carrying this in a travel fridge which plugs into the

car.

Just thought I'd let ya'll know, so you don't get into TOO much trouble

while I'm away. <grin> I figure that as long as you don't do

anything I wouldn't do, you ought to be okay! (Of course, this still

leaves you an awful lot of latitude!)
